Meet our team at Putney Dental & Implant Centre

Dr Shervin Kamyab is the principal dentist at Putney Dental and Implant Centre (as well as our other three branches). Having graduated in 2006, he has established an excellent reputation over the past 20 years in complex implant and dental treatments, including crowns, veneers, bridgework, dentures, complicated tooth extractions and root canal treatments. His extensive knowledge and experience in complex dentistry and his multi-disciplinary approach has helped him treat many of his patients with missing teeth, bite problems, extensive tooth wear and cosmetic dentistry.

Shervin is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest innovations in dentistry, furthering his knowledge and expertise, and is one of three people in his cohort with the honour of gaining a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons. He uses the best implant systems available to ensure he offers the most comprehensive treatment options at all times.

Dr. Mojgan Kamali graduated with honours in 2010 from Beirut Arab University. Following her graduation, she completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry residency programme, further strengthening her clinical expertise across a wide range of treatments.

Dr. Kamali has been practising in London since 2012 and has been a dedicated member of the team at Putney Dental Surgery for nearly 10 years.

She is a highly experienced general dentist with a strong patient-centred philosophy. Dr. Kamali believes that exceptional dentistry begins with truly listening to her patients. She understands that what a patient wants may not always be the same as what they clinically need, and she takes time to explain all available options clearly and honestly. Her goal is to create personalised treatment plans that prioritise long-term oral health, function, and aesthetics.

Dr. Kamali is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and offers treatments including cosmetic bonding, Invisalign, dental implants, and smile enhancements. She is Invisalign-qualified and has been providing Invisalign treatment since 2017. When carrying out cosmetic bonding and aesthetic treatments, her aim is always to achieve beautifully natural-looking results that complement each patient’s facial features rather than appearing artificial or overdone.

She has completed implant training and is  experienced in placing single or multiple dental implants as well as implant-supported bridges, restoring missing teeth with a focus on both function and aesthetics. She is also trained in facial aesthetics and provides Botox treatments, particularly to support patients who suffer from clenching and grinding (bruxism).

With a special interest in root canal treatments and experience in limited soft tissue surgical procedures, Dr. Kamali is committed to delivering precise, high-quality care. Known for her gentle manner, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence, she always goes the extra mile to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of treatment in a calm and supportive environment.

Outside of work, she enjoys training, reading, travel and is fluent in English, Persian and Arabic.

Dr. Kathryn graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, earning Honours and Distinction in Clinical Dentistry. Her academic excellence was recognised through several prestigious awards, including the Sir Arthur Thomson Trust Prize for Excellence.

Kathryn went on to complete further restorative training at the Royal London Dental Hospital, gaining experience in both the Endodontic and Restorative departments. There, Kathryn developed expertise in the management of complex clinical cases, and presented clinical cases at both national and international conferences.

Kathryn is accredited in Invisalign and is currently pursuing further postgraduate training in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Kathryn is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised care to every patient, with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques that preserve natural teeth.

Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys running.

Karolina qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Essex in 2021 with a distinction in Oral Health Science. Since then, she has completed numerous postgraduate training courses, in particular; Composite bonding and Implant Maintenance to ensure patients’ restorations are maintained accurately and with the upmost care.

In 2023 she took up position as a clinical lecturer at the University of Essex to support dental hygiene students during their first-year programme on their academic journey. She is very passionate about oral health and, therefore, she is determined to change the public’s perception about dental hygiene. She believes it can be achieved by a friendly approach and cutting-edge technology. She provides dental hygiene services based on a holistic approach, ensuring patients are made aware that a healthy mouth contributes to overall health.

Her caring and friendly approach allows patients to feel relaxed and at ease, especially those who experience dental anxiety. Patients know her for her bubbly personality as well as gentle and detailed clinical work.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking adventures in the mountains or immerse herself in a book whilst soaking up the sun on the beach.

Yuliana is our dedicated Head Dental Nurse focused on promoting and maintaining healthy smiles. She has been part of the team since 2021 and has completed the renowned NEBDN Dental Nursing Course. With years of valuable experience in the dental field, she is committed to providing the highest standard of care to every patient under her care. 

She brings a diverse cultural background to my work, growing up in Spain but originally from Colombia, which has enriched her understanding of patient needs and experiences. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she can bridge language gaps to ensure clear communication and the best care for every patent. 

It’s her passion to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for our patients, making each visit a positive experience. 

Outside the dental clinic, Yuliana is an avid advocate for community health and wellness and believes that everyone deserves access to quality dental care. She is driven by this mission to make it a reality! In her free time, you can often find Yuliana watching movies, dancing or exploring new places.

Priya recently completed her A levels and is taking a gap year before starting university to study dentistry. During this time, she is undertaking a dental nursing apprenticeship, which she is thoroughly enjoying. This role is giving her the opportunity to develop practical skills, gain first-hand experience in patient care, and make a positive impact on people’s oral health.

Solmaz Mokhtari holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and has five years of experience working as a dental assistant in Iran. She is currently working at the Putney Clinic and is very happy and grateful to be part of the team. She hopes to continue working alongside Dr. Shervin and MS Mia for many years to come.

Annabelle brings over a decade of experience in dentistry, seamlessly combining clinical expertise with business management.

She began her professional journey in 2015, graduating with a degree in Business & Economics, where she developed a strong foundation in organisational leadership and strategic management. That same year, she joined King’s College Hospital, going on to qualify as a dental nurse in 2017 and formally beginning her clinical career in dentistry.

‍

Driven by a commitment to continual growth, Annabelle achieved postgraduate qualifications in Dental Radiography through the British Dental Association and CBCT Radiography through the Royal College of Surgeons. She further expanded her scope of practice with certification in Orthodontic Nursing and specialised Invisalign Treatment Coordinator training, strengthening her ability to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Combining her clinical knowledge with commercial insight, Annabelle progressed into dental practice management. She now leads teams with clarity and direction, enhances operational performance, and implements efficient systems that elevate the overall patient experience.

Beyond practice, Annabelle actively contributes to her profession. She has authored several industry publications, including “Having Braces Helped Me Master the Art of Orthodontic Nursing” in The Dental Nursing Journal, and in March 2025 was featured in Women in Business by Time & Leisure Magazine in recognition of her impact within dentistry and healthcare leadership.

Her career reflects ambition, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to advancing standards in modern dental practice.

Mia is the senior manager behind the scenes here at Putney Dental & Implant Centre, as well as our other three branches. Overseeing management and development across our four practices, she is passionate about people and patient care. She loves finding new ways to improve how we work so that every visit feels seamless. 

Ava Farvahari is a highly sought-after aesthetic nurse and founding creator of My Pure Aesthetics. She has won many awards including the Best Aesthetic Clinic in London Award. With exceptional growth over an immensely short period of time, Ava now comes highly recommended.  Ava launched My Pure Aesthetics in 2017 and has since opened two clinics and earned a large following, consisting of celebrities, influencers, and creators.

Avas passion and commitment for the industry doesn’t go unnoticed, it’s no surprise that she was trained by some of the UK’s industry leaders, celebrity cosmetic doctor @dr.zackally and @dr.sanah. Ava attended the number one aesthetic training provider – Derma Medical located in the aesthetic hub of Harley street, Central London.

Ava is also a registered member of the General Dental council.
